Robbery – Acton, Massachusetts Nov 27, 1889
Wednesday, February 25th, 2009CONCORD, Massachusetts Nov. 27, 1889 Burglars visited Acton last night. At Monument House they secured $175 from Ellis Burden and a lot of jewelry valued at $200 from other occupants.
The loss was discovered early and the burglars were followed to East Acton, where they were discovered lodging in the house of Elbridge Robbins, but escaped on account of the darkness.
